Utility B Section :-The section deals with  booking Of Gandhi Bhavan/ Narshingtola Mukta Mancha/Bipin Ch. Paul Sobha thal.Issuanace of  Electric N.O.C of Municipal Stall/quarter. Maintenance of electric street lights within the Silchar Municipal Jurisdiction. Observance of Birth & Death Anniversary of Freedom Fighters and Patriot also look after Silchar during ghat & Grave yard. Formation of KalipujaCommittee,meeting with leading citizen, immersion of Durga Idols and Prize Distribution of Durga Puja.

Utility “C” Section:– The section deals all kind Govt. Benefits for widow, disabled, old age person and  Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana(Urban),National Food Security act,Indira Mini universal widow pension scheme,kalpataru and other welfare scheme. Taking care of Gandhi bag Park, Narshingtola Park,Municipal Ponds falls under section. There is one Jatiya Biyam Bidyalaya and  Yoga also run by the SMB which is operated by the said branch and it also takes care of celebration of Bengali New Year.
